    Hey guys,

Was wondering if anybody knew of dealers (or private owners) with selections of 9mm rifles (I kinda have my heart set on on an mp5 set up, but understand that in order to avoid a "fake suppressor" I'll need a tax stamp)? Looking to drop between 1k and 1500 (would possibly drop 2k when I get more pennies in the penny bank) on a semi-auto.

Either way, any info would be appreciated.

Even the off-brand HK-style semi-autos (ATI, Vector, Coharie, etc) will run you more than that. A real-deal HK semi-auto will run you several times that.

To stay within the budget you mentioned, you'd be better off buying or building an AR SBR.

Nope, you can get an MKE clone, built in Turkey on HK tooling for $1,199.00. Add $200 in parts to convert it to a carbine and comply with 922r and you are talking $1,300.00. You can leave it as a pistol for the $1,199.00

SBR'ing it will run you another $450 for the stamp and barrel work.

ETA: This is the route I'm taking. My Form 1 is at NFA right now.

I just picked up a HK-94 yesterday and I am not thinking about selling my Ruger PC9, which would be well below what you are looking to spend if you have any interest.

Phylodog- I dig it, but am lookin for something that is all black.

Ryknoll3- I checked out the website, thanks for the info.

FWP9MM- I looked at those, but am curious as to if I would be able to find magazines with a higher mag capacity than just 17 rounds?

Only down side to the MKE guns is if you ever decide to buy a sear they won't work with those guns. From what I understand there is some kind of internal sear block that prevents them from being installed.

I would just like to say, Im officially jealous.

Hotrodtba- How does the 9mm Bushmaster run?

Sp3worker- How are Bobcat's? I've heard mixed reviews on the quality.

Any of you boys know anything about Olympic Arms 9mm rifles? I got a buddy who had mentioned the possibility of selling me his O.A. 9mm rifle with several 33 rd Glock 9mm mags for 500$
