Michael is a cleverly kept secret. He is a real artist, however, and I've been collecting his knives for a number of years. I've designed a couple of blades and sent them along, and Micheal has added his thoughts and expertise, as well. The result has been two one of a kind blades, that were heirlooms the day they arrived. He is very talented and his prices are very reasonable considering the amount of artistry and craftsmanship that he puts into each knife. Google him and you will see what I mean.
He was at the Spring 1500; and hopefully he will be back soon. Don't forget, just because you do not see it on his sight does not mean he can't make what you would like to have.
Thanks guys! Mr Morris is one of a kind!
I was honored that he was willing to "trade Trades" with me. Shirts for steel.
(I recall a wise carpenter once saying sell garments to buy swords, I guess trading shirts for knives is pretty close)
IIRC the 2 blades retailed around 185-200 bucks total for the both...
and no, the larger blade is not as thick as the little one...
(Edit:It's thicker than Hanwei's Tac Wakizashi!)
I LOVE how beefy the short one is...
