I live in Johnson County and am looking to rent a little time now and again on some private land for some simple firearms training (mostly handgun). I have been a little disappointed at the limitations that the public ranges here have imposed in the name of safety. I completely understand the reasons for their precautions, but I have paid a good deal of money for professional training and do not get to practice those skills in any real way at these facilities; which is no fault of their own.
I am considerate of the landscape and resources, clean up 100% of my mess, and am above all else, SAFE. I would be willing to arrange visits well in advance and be considerate of whatever special rules you may have regarding your land. I do realize that I would be a guest and would behave accordingly.
If there is a land owner out there in Johnson County or around that wouldn't mind being a steward or perhaps a shooting partner, I would be very grateful and happy to make your acquaintance.
