    I always thought that I was born in a country that had a document that makes it inherent that I could protect myself and family by being armed ? Your saying that can also be removed with a 2/3rds vote.

    The document recognizes the right as pre-existing, it does not grant the right nor could it take it away. The 2A is a restriction upon government, not a permission for the people.

    Even if that restriction was removed, without the government being specifically granted elsewhere in the document the authority to infringe upon the right of the people to keep and bear arms, said authority does not exist.
