I have a twenty year old as-new 9mm Browning Hi-power in Satin Stainless, target sites and Signature Model Pachmayr Grips. I bought this pistol new in Jasper, IN.

I am courious if any of you trade this mint pistol even for a M&P 9, 40 or 45?

I may have this opportunity to do this.

I probably would not trade a High Power that I was the original owner of.

I'm not against trading in general, but something like that, I would say to keep and just save and buy the M&P.

    1 for 1 swap?

The Browning will appreciate on a steeper curve than the Smith.

Best to buy the M&P you want and hold on the Browning.

Where is the Browning made? Do you still have the box and receipt?

Even if no, I would hold.

The m an p's are nice but you can run to the store and buy one.

I haven't seen many high powers out there. Not to mention one as you
    described.:dunno:
    :postpics:

I believe there are some here ready to "take you for a ride", in a nice way. Hold onto the Browning as a matter of principle. If you need the money to make the purchase, make it a goal. Unless you cannot afford to keep both, and really want the M&P, then keep the Browning, and buy the other out of pocket. If you cannot, do not trade the Browning, sell it. You will gain the money to buy the gun you want, and likely have a few dollars left over...
