Not a shooter these days, but grew up in the Arkansas backwoods (where gun ownership and familiarity is pretty much a given) and am an Army veteran (mid '80s). Live now in Irvington (community in Indy's eastside)

Also, I was introduced as "John" but also answer to Beldar -- was my Army nickname
