My take on the tactical pen. This the prototype & it's about ¾th done. I need to make the twist cap to extend & retract the actual pen.
Thee entire assembly is yellow brass & the cap will be 303 stainless steel.
The pen body needs some more machining in the way of grips and the like then polished to a high luster.

I’ve been a pen hobbyist (I collect fountain pens and neat others) for years and I’m really jealous of the OP’s abilities on this project. The G2 roller ball refills are some of the smoothest writing roller balls out there. Will the OP be machining some sort of “grippy areas” on the pen?
Bravo on the project and am looking forward to seeing the finished pen. :woot:

This pen was & is simply a proof of concept. The design will be more refined as I turn out several more. The body is yellow brass & the twist cap is 303 stainless.....the cap either needs to be aluminum (so I can knurle it) or a different design on the twist cap is needed. Over all I'm pleased with my proof of concept Resized_Resized_20240309_192137.jpeg Resized_Resized_20240309_192147.jpeg Resized_Resized_20240309_192207.jpeg
