What is it with Professional Athletes thinking they are above the law just because they make millions?
If nothing else he should be hung for being an absolute idiot and not being willing to do something as simple and easy as getting a gun permit...
Come on:
1) Florida Issue (True or Otherwise) where a Gun he wasn't licensed to own/carry/posses come into play.
2) NJ Nightclub thing - Again someone that wasn't the person detained threw a gun under a car to keep police from finding it on their person because they didn't have permit/license to have it.
3) Gun use in Murder - Yet again not licensed to have it.
The guy just signed a $39mil contract that included a $12mil plus signing bonus last fall... Is a couple hundred going to break him to have a gun legally??
Verdict is out on the actual Murder 1 charge he was arrested on...
But the guy has basically hand wrapped the case for the DA... They won't find a person to sit on that jury that won't hold destruction of Phone and Erasure/Destruction of home security system against him nor should they... I'd also be interested in testimony from the Cleaning Crew that was hired and come in hours after this happened...
This guy rates up there with some of the most Stupid Criminals out there... Seriously to have Rental Car(s) in your name involved, to have Police able to recover video on your own home security system showing person getting out of said rental vehicle with gun minutes after shots heard at murder scene...
Then to make it worse within 5 minutes of someone breaking false story of arrest warrant to take media on an OJ Like Joy Ride to Stadium with what hope that Kraft or others within Patriot organization wanted to have anything to do with you under the circumstanced and when you could be about to be slapped in cuffs...
If nothing else I hope Civil Suit in Florida is awarded Millions, and regardless of Murder Case outcome anything else should be awarded to the murder victims family...
But since this Idiot is worth millions and millions we all get to see if high priced legal team pull some OJ Like theatrics all because the guy is a professional athlete with money still acting like some hood rat gangsta idiot.
Put the guy in front of a Firing Squad and make it a lot cheaper for everyone then what this trial will end up costing...
