    I really like those since they came out.
    Would that real suppressor have fit inside the longer handguard?

    Yes. But I worried I'd damage the threads.
    Also, wasn't too fond of having the barrel recessed in the handguard.

    The barrel is shortened as far as it will go.
    And that handguard is the shortest one I found.

    If you look at the suppressor, a TI-RANT 45M, you can take off the last 2 inches and have a shorter suppressor.
    With the original handguard, I think it would barely have stuck out of the handguard.


    Also, keeping the original handguard could be a problem.
    The barrel end is a swappable "piston".
    I can swap that for 9mm, 40 cal, and 45 cal.
    You might try to remove the suppressor, and then leave the piston on the end of the barrel.
