Round Count: 150-200 rounds

Basic pistol is for the new gun owner or the new shooter who is looking for top notch instruction that is value priced. There will be a two hour classroom session and a two hour live fire session to follow the classroom instruction. Topics addressed in this class will include: safe gun handling, storage, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, table top pick ups, strong hand and weak hand shooting.

The shooter will need 200 rounds, eye and ear protection, magazines, gun, open mind.

Your spot in this class is not held until your payment and registration form is received. First come first served.

This class is our entry level class. It is great for the person who is looking to buy their first gun, or who has recently purchased a new gun and does not have much experience with it.

We will have a variety of guns on hand for people to try out different makes and models. The student must provide their own factory ammo. Most are in 9mm.

We have had an enormus amount of ladies take this class in the past. Anyone looking to get their wife, girlfriend or mother into a gun class this is the place to start. Our average round count is 150. So this is not the typical 5-10 rounds from a rest position beginners class. No holster is required.

You do not have to be a member of MCFG to take this class. I have sent out plenty of registration forms but not had many returned yet.

No. Our BP100 is not an NRA-associated class.

Do you need NRA Basic Pistol for some reason? If so, ACT has NRA certified instructors on staff. Just let us know your needs.

This is one of our most popular classes, both because of the content as well as the value for your hard earned dollars. It's a great opportunity for families or parts of famililies to learn together as well.

No holster required. A case or gun rug is necessary for this class.

Again, we have a variety of guns available for you to use during the class or to try. However, you need to let us know ahead of time so we can plan ahead as well as make sure you bring appropriate ammunition.
