Yeah was taking out of my car and it got some drop action. Trust me if I can make it to the range in the snow I will. Next weekend if the roads aren't so bad I'm going to make it to the range and I'll see how this UTG rail does. I had a MI rail with US palm top on it but waiting to get a red dot.

I wasn't very impressed with the UTG rail that came on my M&M. The Damage Industries, Ultimak, and Midwest Industries ones are great though. I was the most impressed with the MI / US Palm combo.

I can't decide what I want. I've been looking into the damage industries. I'll probably use the mi us palm rail when I get me a dot. I ordered a echo nine three sling mount and a damage industries muzzle brake a few days ago so I've been spending some money on it.

They are both nice rails, but I might give the MI the edge if you plan on using optics. The US Palm upper does a really nice job of helping you cowitness with your optics. I used a Burris Fastfire for mine, and loved it. I've posted this before, but here's a pic of it on my old M&M M10 and Vector underfolder:

Damage Industries brake instead of the Tapco Razr. Echo Nine Three V3 sling mount. Put the MI rail back on. Should I keep the RPK sight or get a different one?? Next for the gun will probably be a different safety that's user friendly with that V3 mount. And maybe a primary Arms micro. I like the T1/H1 but can't pay that kind of money for an optic atm. And as for gear I need to get me a chest rig.

I ASSume the "PIC THREAD" part was directed at the fact I have 2 comments in the thread without pics.. Yugo M70AB2.. Better?

Girlfriend shooting the Yugo.. Needs to work on proper stance, but ya gotta give her a little credit, as it was her first ever time firing a rifle, and second time firing a gun in general! She's got a Sig P238, but hasn't been able to shoot it yet.

In that case, I apologize for maybe being a little snarky in my reply! Nice rifles by the way!

edit: figured i'd do this here to not take up more room without pics. To zero, below me, that's actually my jacket that she took over, and she won't let me have it back! I got it from my uncle, who wore it in The military in Germany in the 1980's. It's missing the interior liner, but it may be the warmest jacket I have ever worn! That's why I can't get it back from her!

correction: I was just told that jacket actually dates back to the 1970's!

What's up with women wearing OD green coats like that. I had an Ex gf that wore one just like that. N_K_1984 Post every pic of that gun you have in one post. Every configuration of it.

It's def been through some changes. This is my final configuration though. Everything finally feels just right on it.

    Evolution of my M10-762:

    Stage 1

    Stage 2

    Stage 3

    Stage 4

After some range abuse, Stage 5

    Stage 6

Current, and final Configuration: Refinished Metal and Ergonomic/Functional peak achieved.

I did everything but the welding. I have a lot of personal satisfaction in my M10. I have way nicer guns, but my M10 is definitely one of my favorites, as far as a range blaster, go-to, shtf, brush, and/or truck gun is concerned. I've done a lot of running and gunning with it, and buddy, I'm sold on it. It's really become a pretty great fighting rifle. Keep in mind, I've done a lot of massaging on it. I watched and followed along on a lot of Jim Fuller's how to videos on DIY techniques for smoothing out an AK action. With enough emry cloth, jeweler's rouge, stones, and files it IS possible to polish a turd, haha.
