I still need to covert my saiga over, I have a muzzle break to put on once the barrel is threaded, need a new trigger and guard before I am able to move the group up. I've watched a lot of videos, just not sure it's something I want to do my self, I do know I want someone else to thread the barrel

It isn't difficult to convert it yourself. I was also on the fence about doing it myself. I decided to do it this week and it came out great. It was much easier than I thougt it would be. You've watched the videos, take your time and it will be an easy job.

A few people on the board have threading tools that may be willing to help you. A member let me borrow his threading die so I could thread my barrel. Threading the barrel also turned out to be a simple job. I will post pics of the rifle shortly.

I did my conversion last week. I took it out Sunday to shoot it, 200 rounds later im very happy i decided to convert it.

Yes, my first. I was hesitant but it wasn't difficult. That one is 7.62, I may add a 5.45 in the future. I'm very impressed with the saiga rifles.

This is my MAK 90, almost lol completely taken back to type 56 condition ..just have to find a gas block with a bayonet lug...then I can put a cleaning rod in it too

a spiker gas block is no different than a regular gas block.

now a spiker front sight base is different, and hard to find, but his MAK90 never had a spiker on it.
