Great job that's awesome!! I have been looking for one like the original so that I could do as you did but I can find one with a good price.

WOW :yesway:. Very nice. I'm not super knowledgeable on the Eastern rifles... what make is that, and what caliber? Looks VERY good!

    Make: Romanian PSL
    Caliber: 7.62x54R.

    ...and thanks!

Love the mak! I wanted to do that to mine but I refused to pay the prices they wanted for the solid wood Chinese stocks.
It's a pain having to modify other stocks to fit the mak90, but much cheaper.
    Yours looks real nice.

Thank you! I actually found my stock set on "The Files" in their Marketplace. I bought the buttstock, grip, lower & upper fore-ends, and all the metal hardware. I got a R E A L L Y good deal on it all, so I couldn't pass it up. :D

I really need to de-nueter my MAK. I have a pre-ban front sight and gas block (also from "The Files"). I just need to strip them down, blue them, and install them. I still sucks though that I can't thread the muzzle. It's been turned down and too small of a diameter. :(

I can't be convinced that a thumb-hole stock isn't sexy on these. This is the second Mak90 I've gotten acquainted with, always blows me away how tanky these things are compared to Saiga's, extremely solid. Love it.

    Finished my latest project

1976 Romanian RPK original barreled kit on NDS-7 receiver.

Finished it up on Saturday. I still need to clean it up from the build, and detail it a bit, but I did get it to the range on Sunday. It runs flawlessly (who would expect less?), and its pretty darn accurate! 5 holes touching at 50 yards.
