I don't know if Ironwood Designs would sell to a third party, but I would think having a supply of really high quality AK wood furniture might be something to look into. About the only problem I could see is Ironwood is a small operation run by someone who is a perfectionist and might not be able to provide quick delivery of a large quantity.

Vitamink just hit most of the companies I have been looking at. You might wat to keep some TAPCO triggers, but the rest of the tapco stuff should stay away from aks (Except maybe the pistol grips, some people like those). The magazines sucks, the stock sets suck, the triggers are good, but that's about it. A stocking ultimak dealer would be sweet, as would a krebs dealer.

    Also:

    Red Star Arms triggers

Windage & Elevation tool for the front sight

    Simple two point slings.

Quality tennis racket bags for discreetly carrying folded AKs.

    Krylon for occasional refinishing.

get a battle comp or primary weapons systems are a better option for your AK. Tapco doesn't really do any research or development. I would, however, purchase a tapco slant brake for a iodine russian red AK with bakelite mags just to keep with the theme. For quality i'd try one of the above.

    This shows a good compare-o of the 3 (the "kuh-losh" **** gets old) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlqGU6hGT24[/ame]

that us palm grip really is quite comfortable. and as far as travis haley, imho given his marines/blackwater record. he could call it a pink fluffy clown car and i wouldnt question it. :P

i can also vouch for the ultimak. cause optic zero retention is kindve a basic need.

Good info on the grip guide. Great minds think alike. Which reminds me... Matt, I have a stock for you. PM me your number again, and if you're on the west side i'll go meet you. I also stumbled upon a UsPalm side folding stock (almost) review. Care to expand on that? It certainly sounds interesting.
