AK stock question

I have seen pictures of AK's with the Vltor stock or a Magpul MOE stock. Are these altered stocks to fit a AK? Is it hard to alter?

Most of the time an AR stock is put on an AK by simply using an adapter like this one...

Pretty simple, no real modification required. The stock is still an AR stock...it can still be placed on an AR.

The VLTOR RE-47 is what you're after...

or the command arms model that is essentially the same thing. You can also buy an ace folder with a vltor stock added.

The Vltor is mil-spec, and the CAA is commercial.
