If one makes a distinction between accidents and stupidity, then I would agree. It appears that this incident is due to stupidity. There has been no indication that this occurred through malice, and LE is, at this point, calling it an accident.

I see this. But having the gun at school and waving it around is by no means an accident. JMHO of course.
