Albino turkey?

I saw this a couple weeks ago, it was with a normal turkey. It was very fast and I was lucky to get this picture. Its a wild bird in southern Johnson Co. Any of you ever see a white wild turkey?

where did you see this at? ive hunted turkeys in jennings county before on a buddys farm.every so often you will see farmers white turkeys that escaped running with a group of wild turkeys.

I have hear of it but never saw it. From what I understand they are escaped turkeys that turned kind of wild.

Then again, you could have come across a rare albino turkey.

Atterbury, kinda sorta.

on the orange and crawford co. border I have seen one like this as well as one that actually looked spotted it had a mix of dark and light colors.

We have a few around the West Point area I've seen some hens all white .

If it's a true albino, it will make a nice mount

Domestic turkeys are white. Kill them on site if you see them in the wild to protect the wild population.

That is a domestic white turkey due to the build of the body. Albino phase birds are very rare and will have red eyes.

THat bird looks like a broad breasted white. I used to raise these and Royal Palm turkeys and the size of the bird makes it look like a young one.
