Couldn't come at a better time. The gap between PDP and T-Series keeps closing. Last week, he sold his soul and streamed Fortnight, which grew the 30k gap to around 100k (also becoming the highest viewed Fortnight streamer, which I'm sure those kids on Twitch were happy about.) Yesterday, as the gap closed to 30k again, he streamed "Roblox", some kid's game. Gap re-grew to around 70k.

The document denying the copyright says the moves in the “Carlton” represent a simple dance routine rather than a work of choreography, which can be copyrighted.

This could be in the SJW thread the way people on the right have been reacting to it. I’ve seen several youtube channels addressing this as an attempt to cancel Baby Yoda. It’s not that as much as implying that Disney should reign in the use of it in memes, as if that could actually work.

The memes don’t cost Disney any real externalities. If anything they gain from it. Baby Yoda is now Ubiquitous. It belongs to culture and the internet in the most practical terms. That’s a fine branding outcome right there. She doesn’t come out and say it. But I suspect that this is more about trying to head off its use in political memes because the sane people know how to meme and the woke left doesn’t.

And when I say the sane people know how to meme, I’m not necessarily implying the right. I’m not excluding the sane parts of the right nor the sane parts of the left. I don’t think the far right is a lot better at miming than the woke left.

I used to follow Liberty Hangout on FB. It's run by Kaitlin Bennett and is supposed to be for Libertarians. I learned one thing there. No, two things. Taxation is theft and Libertarians are TERRIBLE at memes.
