The WD9BSA VE Team will be doing testing for the Amateur radio license on Aug 8th at 9AM. They will be located at the Crossroads of America Boy Scout office. There is no charge but you must pre-register. To get pre-registered visit the WD9BSA.ORG website, click on the licensing tab, and fill out the form. There is no charge for this test session...so you save $15.

EDIT: 07/28/2015 - Seating is FULL for this session. The next session is NOV 14th.

    Will this include General test?

The WD9BSA Group are Laurel VE's and they give the Technician, General, and Extra class exams. You need to pre-register by visiting the website at WD9BSA.ORG and clicking on the license tab. The next session will be Nov 14th, 2015. The Laurel ARC VEC does not charge for the exam.

A note for those who might be doing this - there's a great iPhone/iPad app called Ham Radio Exam (with - General, - Technician, etc) free in the app store by Roy Watson. It provides flash cards that will get you through the test - you can prep for and pass the Technician level in a week pretty easily.
