In Bloomington taking a stand like that will actually bring in sales. A government money town if there ever was one.

AMC bought out a local theater a while back. Neither the old company nor AMC have put up signs on the doors about it.

I was browsing around at the theater one day while the family was pit stopping, and I found a table with several pieces of literature (brochures, etc.) There was a little card, about business card sized (maybe a bit bigger) that had the AMC "rules" and "policies" that said something about no weapons. I had to laugh that they'd really expect people to take these cards and abide by them. The table was tucked away in a corner. I've been back a few times and I haven't seen the little cards on the table. There are still no signs.

No force of law until asked to go and you refuse.
CC means no one knows you have it.
    Stay home and watch netflix.

These are all very true, but longbow is also right that the slip down the slope should be accompanied with all the fighting and yelling as is possible. Heck, if you planned to stay home, this is your chance to stand and yell "boycott" while shaking your fist to the heavens dramatically. How often do you get to do that in your normal week?

longbow, you got one location you want the letters to go or a single contact person there that we wish to impress upon? Arty works best when concentrated.

....Send your letters to the amc corporate...

I talked to a manager and he said the maintenance guy put them up and he has had more that a few comments about them.

The signs are "head high" on the glass doors when you walk in. They were there last week when I was overwatch for 9-14 year old girls at a movie.................

They might be gone already if they got more than a few calls.

^^^^What Tyler said^^^^ They are just too damn expensive. I go to maybe one or two a year, and then only if the wife drags me out.

Same here. Family of four can easily run north of $60 with tickets, popcorn, soda and candy thrown in. I can take them to the local tavern, get some good food, cold beer (for me, not the kids) and sit and talk for less than $40. Kids may not like it as much, but I like it better than a movie.
