    HP = hollow point.

    1. Duh! :ugh:

    First off, 22s need cleaned more often than centerfire. I'd be willing to bet a case of beer, that a good cleaning by someone who knows that platform, would alleviate those issues. You need to watch that happen and learn. I'm not that person or id help.
    Believe it or not, I had a really shotty lot of minimag hp 2 years ago.Rare, but it happens. I still have some I think if I didn't already toss it.....what's your lot number from the box?
    Mothers mag polish is an automotive product. Find it at AutoZone etc....Not point blank. And for God sakes, don't use a Dremel or any power tool.

    2. Thanks for the tip!
    3. No delicate power tools like a Dremel. :laugh:

    Problem solved!
    Finally made it to the range and I again tried:
    CCI Hi-Velocity (1235 FPS, Hollow Points)
    Winchester M-22 Hi-Velocity (1280 FPS hollow points)
    which:
    My .22LR small tip-up Beretta would not shoot these (FTE big time)
    or,
    my Bersa Thunder 22LR
    Both guns have done fine in the past when using Hi-Velocity CCI ammo (non-hollow point).

    Then I put in CCI Mini-Mags, 40 grain, 1235 copper-coated and there was no problem.
    I then used some CCI AR Tactical Hi-Velocity (forget FPS), also, with no issues.

    Since the Beretta 22LR is working fine using the correct CCI ammo I think I'll put it up on the "trim" list since too many 22LR guns.
    I was enamored by it b/c I had one back in the late 1980s I loved, but it's time to move on.
