    just fyi walmart has federal champion 100 rd boxes of ball 9 mm for 19.99..... Thats $4 a box cheaper than white box... Dont flame me for buying from walmart please... But its convienient and a great deal on almost all there ammo prices! Anyone else feel as if ammo prices have gotten outta hand and why do you all think that is?

    I bought a box myself because they only had one box at the Walmart by me. I would have bought several more if they had them.

    I would guess that ammo prices have to do with the cost of brass and/or metal in general. With the developing countries around the world requiring tons of resources prices for everything will continue to go up.

    material cost?.

    I know were in a recession here as well as most of the globe is so I wonder about the rise in material cost?.. I know scrap metal domestically has went down in value so I would question the rise in core material cost as the determining factor in the end price... I assume manufacturers know they are in a limited market that allows them the liberty to increase price at will...this is a luxury item for almost all folks.....
