I always shot remington umc 180gr FMJ out of my sigma .40. Never had a problem.

Ive always had the best luck with winchester, but with good quality pistols as yours you shouldnt have troubke with any ammo. Only thing to keep in mind is some of the cheap import stuff can be really dirty.

I shoot PMC through my XD9, never had any issues.

My XD's have never had any problems with any brand of ammunition functioning. Accurate range ammunition; Federal American Eagle and PMC seem best for mine. Mostly shoot handloads though.

No experience with .40 S&W, sorry.
