I turned a pigeon into a fine cloud of feathers with my Ranger once. Apart from that, the only other things I hit are parked cars. Oh, and chain link fence gates will rip the fender clean off of a dually.

I once hit a horse standing broadside in my lane just over the crest of a hill. That is some bad ju ju right there. It was swerve or die. I swerved & survived; the horse, not so much. Hitting a swan straight on is one thing; a horse, pig, elk or moose is quite another.
