Anyone have any experience with Anderson Mfg? Just about ready to buy both an upper and lower from them, but wanted to see if anyone local had any experience with them. Or if anyone knew of any local shop that sell their stuff.

If you've never heard of them: www.andersonrifles.com. I'm kind of sold on them, because it appears they actually manufacture most of the parts including their upper/lower receivers & parts kits in house in Hebron, KY. Anyone have any thoughts on them?

    Nobody?

Well, I will let everyone know my experience, because I plan to buy some parts from them today.

    Sorry, OP.

I've never heard of 'em - which isn't a big deal since I don't know much about AR rifles anyhow.

I just ordered an upper and lower today, so I'll post some pics as I get this build together.

I watched the cleaning video on their website. They recommend dish soap and water. I will stick with good ol' fashioned oil. My :twocents:

The individual parts they sell are not RF85 treated according to their website, so oil is still required :(.

Finally started my build today. I decided to try the Anderson Mfg. stripped lower, I try to post plenty of pics during the build.

Thanks to Profire Arms and Supply for transferring the lower for me.
