Hi Guys, I'm back again. I took the micro SD card out of my phone and put it in the adapter that came with my Samsung, Galaxy Tab A tablet but I have not installed it in the tablet yet.

My concern is that some of the recovery software warns that it may not be optimized for my device and some are labeled for Windows or Mac and none of them mention using a tablet, only a PC or Laptop and I've screwed up bad enough already.

I've looked at a lot of videos but I'm still not very confident. Some say you have to have a second SD card to send them too.
I'm not sure what to do at this point.
Take it to the store that sold you the phone. This is what I have resolved to when I have issues. Everybody knows how to fix your phone, except the 4 yr old boy playing on your street corner. Because he don't care.

I would gladly take the SD card to someone who knows what there doing.
How about Best Buys? Or even a PC repair shop?
I've used this guy before and he seems reasonable and knowledgeable. Just a tiny little shop:

I have had a lot of luck with ISO Buster for unreadable drives. It's not free, but isn't cost prohibitive. WAY cheeper alternative to taking it to any professional data recovery company.

I'll look it up and check it out.

So far I haven't been able to find it in the Play Store.

Ok, I did find it on a net search.
