Doesn't make any sense at all for automatic knives to be illegal. Practically everyone I know who carries a knife can open it just as quickly as an automatic, assisted opening or not. Just another B.S. bureaucratic law to limit more of our freedom. I can't stand ignorant laws that don't affect crime rates in any way with the exception of giving criminals the upper hand by disarming law abiding citizens, whether it be with knife or gun laws. :twocents:

    Where's the bacon?
Fun aside, who is the chair of the committee? Who is pushing this and how can we help? Who needs money?

That would be Sen. Steele chairing the committee, with other members being:

Sen. Steele is also the author of the bill. :)

FWIW, SB 11 and SB 12, Sen. Nugent's firearms bills, have been assigned to the Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Bray.

This could be bad news for these bills: Last session, Mr. Alting and Ms. Lubbers, along with all the Democrats, voted down the bill that was introduced. I don't know about Head or Holdman, but Steele, Zakas, and Bray all voted to pass it.

    Get those letters written, folks!

Oh, and Kirk, as for who needs money? I DO!! :D (and yeah, I know that doesn't mean I'll get any.)

    Blessings,
    Bill
