Prayer's are in order yes, I just don't get the no " responsibility part " of custodial adults. The store I shop at allow children in for a pretzel, but they are never left alone. This is just " one " incident that never should have happened.:stretcher: Really sad!

:rolleyes:when are parents go to start being responsible.

Exactly. From the story linked in the OP.

The four-year-old apparently found a loaded shotgun behind the store counter and shot himself in the head. He was rushed to a hospital where he later died.

Officials are still trying to figure out whom the gun belongs to and how Wimbley was able to access it.

Better call in Sherlock Holmes...sounds like this might be a tough case to crack.

Parents must be more vigilant with their children. They need to put down their cell phones and hold their little curious hands when they're in an unknown environment. I constantly see women walkig across parking lots head down, texting or something, while her kids trail along behind and the rest of us try not to run them over.

This poor little child's life is over before it's even begun. It makes me sad and angry at the same time.

my prayers go out to the family, but...

several things: what was a 4yo doing in a liquor store; what was anyone besides the proprietor doing behind the counter; and how does a 4yo shoot himself with a shotgun?

that last part is what sticks out to me the most to make me :n00b:
