Heading home this evening I stopped in Fortville at the liquor store. You may know the one,the only one in town with the big pink elephant.I walked in and was immediately greeted with "you can't bring that gun in here"! I was kinda taken back because I was just in there on Saturday OCing a bigger gun and not a word was said. Same lady working so I asked if it was her policy or the stores? When she stated "the stores" I said,"thats funny, I was in here the other day carrying and you didn't say anything about it then". She told me she didn't see it but it's kinda hard to miss a .45 on someones hip. I thanked her, said good evening and started to leave when she said,"you can leave it in your car and come back in". No thanks, I'll do business elsewhere.

I'm not really sure what point you're making here. I mean, I get the fact that you won't spend money there because of their policy, but it seems you're suggesting that she actually did notice your gun a few days before and was ok with it.....and then a few days later decided she wasn't.

Print off a no gun no funds card. Walk it in and give that to them.

Also call and talk to the manager and find out the actual policy. If it is policy mail him a card.

i don't think the card is necessary in this situation as i believe it is a family owned store and she was likely one of the owners. I would hope that him saying i will take my business else where after she said all that was perty self explanatory

Oh, Fortville. Time to go down the highway to Ingalls I guess. ;)

Nope the ingalls store is owned by non US citizens, I think I would leave it in the truck and buy from the no gun store over the non citizen store.

I would say before next memorial day it will not really matter as I think getting cold beer is going to be easy to do even on sunday at a gas station.

You refuse to do business with anyone who isn't American? That seems just about as intolerant as the lady not allowing carry in her store...

That's an odd statement. If they are illegal immigrants, then sure, boycott away. But, legal immigrants helped make this country what it is. Most of us trace our roots back through someone that brought their family here legally to be a part of the American dream. Please don't confuse an immigrant with an illegal immigrant. They are worlds apart.

Hindu's and Sihks, Hispanics, Irish, I'll buy liquor from. Muslims I will not.
I've had enough of a view of that particular political system to know I SURE don't want to support it fiscally.
