OP, one of your favorite shops has a used one for $499... just saying.

    1. I check them every day.
    2. If it is listed for $499, I know if could be had for $450 or maybe even less (imo).
    3. I have bought a used gun there before after giving too low an offer and they took me up on it: but it was a fun shoot! (Ruger SR1911)
    4. Sometimes I literally have seen a used price on a gun and new there it was less money or the same?????? (once it was b/c there were 2 extra mags???)

That price is ridiculous, I bought a 23 and 27 each under $500 new.

23 & 27 are not a 19x. I'm not saying that is a good price for the 19x because it can be had cheaper, but the 23 & 27 are not commanding the prices that a standard 19 are let alone a 19x.

Id say its an average price. When they came out most shops were around 619. I got mine for 599 the day it came out. I think Brownells was 639.

New gen 3 glocks can be had for probably $500. I saw one shop mark down gen 4s to like 469. Gen 5 glocks are mid 500's and the gen 5 19x comes with night sights. I believe trigger wise the 19x is the best glock to date.

Yep, I was just responding to the guy above who indicated the price was ridiculous and comparing to the 23/27. You just can't compare 40S&W pricing to 9mm pistols these days, let alone the 19x.

blue label at McGalliard Guns in Muncie was $569 for me. I agree with the second post about the idiots on Armslist trying to sell a use glock for $100 more than most folks w/o blue label can buy a new one for.

I took a gander at this thread again, and I remember thinking when I first posted it: "oops!"
I am not keen on Glock prices except for the 42, 43 and 26 b/c I researched and bought them. I only kept the 26 b/c I bought the Sig 365 to replace the 42 (and wanted out of .380), and didn't care for the 43 (liked Shield 9 better), but didn't need the Shield 9 after getting the 365 either.

Based on Rural King's other prices on "specials" I ASSumed that it was a terrific price, which brings me back to my first reaction: "oops!"

    1. Just this Saturday I sold a S/W M/P Compact to a member here (for his wife).
    2. Just last Friday sold a S/W M/P Shield 9 to a member here.
    3. Just today, Sunday, sold a .22LR Advantage Arms conversion kit for a G26 to a member here.
    4. This list could go on, but your point is made, like the two CZs I sold this summer to members here (one bought from a member here).
