What's your favorite car/car meet? Any project cars? I have a 94 acura integra GSR. It needs a little TLC because of that hoda cancer in the quarters and a paint job.

Why not start by telling us about yours?

Anyway. I like the platforms that came out with the Mazda K-Series engines. I have a 93 Ford Probe with the Mazda 2.5L K-Series engine. I have fabricated quite a few parts for the car since there is not much aftermarket support for these cars/motors. Here is the current mod list and I have many more items sitting in the garage waiting to be installed.

I tend to favor the European cars. The Italian ones are preferred, but I can appreaciate a good German car too. I have been in love with Fiat Spiders since around 1977, when my brother bought a new Fiat X1/9. While he was signing the paperwork, I was drooling over a brand new Fiat Spider. Being 14, it made an impression. I did not get my first Spider for another 19 years though and that one was a 1977. But, the 19 years had been tough on it and it was mostly rust and bondo. But, I restored it and had a ball in that thing. Then I bought a '76 and later a '69. I parted the 76 and when the '69 was running, sold the '77. I bought a '69 for parts too. My current project is a '68 Spider that's one of the first ones produced for the US market.

The project has been dormant for a couple of years, but with the 50th anniversary of the US Spider introduction and Fiat's decision to re-introduce a Spider to the US market, it's becoming active again. This car is about as rough as they come, but being the 151st car produced for the US market, is worth saving. I find little in life that's more satisfying than doing a long back road drive in an early Fiat Spider that I put together.

    This is my '69:

    This is the '68 project

An E39 M5 is one of my bucket list cars. There is a reason that car was voted 'Best Car Ever Produced' back in its heyday.

AFE air boxes were removed and returned to stock. AFE came with the car when I got her, PO left the OEM boxes in trunk.
First pic was this summer, second pic was right after I got her with her winter tires, 3rd pic needs no caption!

Edited first post! I wasn't able to upload a pic of it. Yeah mazda's are great! I wish that I still had one. My next car i hope to be a '02 wrx or '92 240sx. My real dream car is a 99 skyline but that will have to wait until 2024 lol
