    In my lair
    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find out some information about a knife my mom bought for me in China many years ago. I didn't ask her much about it before she passed away but she told me she haggled like crazy for it with the help of a Taiwanese friend.

Here are some pictures. If you can suggest where to go to learn about it, please let me know. I just want to know what it is, if it's even real (or tourist fake), what it is made of, when it was made. And is it even Chinese?

I have a Chinese dagger I got in Chinatown in San Francisco.
I've seen several of them thru the years. My ex haggled the crap out of the guy in the shop for it.
It started at $68 and she got him down to $35 for it.
It's nothing special and is nothing more than a decorative mantle piece.
They are about the same build quality as the Pakistani junk on ebay.
