One of my top 3 shows! Phil tries to teach his yuppie grandkids his country values, nobody does any actual work, and Si is a one man comedy show.

True story: years ago, I had an issue with my Duck Commander drake mallard call. Called the 800 number on the back of the package, and it went something like this:

"Duck Commander Calls, Phil speaking."

Me- "Uh. Phil? You mean, The Phil Roberston?!?"

"Yours truly, what can I do you for?"

Me, still stunned- "Uh, why the hell are you answering the phones?"

I then got a quick lecture on exactly why Phil was answering HIS phone, at HIS business. The man, and the rest of em, are exactly as you see on this show. Except they usually shave their beards after duck season. Except for Phil. His is full on, all the time.

The show is awesome, if they were ever to do an offshoot it would be Phil taking city slickers out to learn how to live, I am jealous of their sustenance living.

I got hooked last season and the wife (3 episodes into this season) is now hooked.

Uncle Si reminds me of one of my uncles, he makes the show!


Oh, and the wives aren't too bad to look at either!!!

All I can say is watch the Honey Bee episode, where they try to get the wild honeybee hive. It's priceless.
