This guy is pretty good with most anything you want done, I've seen his work on an M1Garand.

I'm in the Indy area. I'm needing to have a barrel installed and timed, headspaced and bolt lapped. Haven't done those things as of yet and just want to make sure it's done correctly.

I totally agree, but I treasure my Gingher prepared M1A.

Might try Mark Highsmith of Highsmith Guns in Greenfield - not sure what all he works on, but is good and fair.
