Does anyone know anything about the Winchester 1300 Featherweight 12 gauge shotgun? I found a beautiful "older" one at LGS that appears to be unfired by owner, and put on layaway. It looks to have been purchased and stored. The box is browning from age but still sturdy and it comes with three chokes, one in barrel and two others in the box that obviously have never been threaded into barrel. I found very little on internet regarding the 1300 Featherweight. I know they were built between 1976 and 2006 and think they were sold as the equivalent to the Rem 870. The high polished wood stock and blued receiver and 20"-21" barrel are pristine and look great on the older traditional shotgun. Of course it is light and would make a nice pheasant gun. Does anyone else have intel on these guns?
