Seconded for both Blackhawk2001 and Matt with Urban ERT. Both are great guys and will help if needed.

I have a machine and have been working on getting it up and running, I just keep running out of time and money. Once I am, I plan on making belts and IFAK pocket pouches, to start.

I'd love to follow your posts on that!
I'm a hand stitcher simply because I can't justify an industrial machine. Half of the projects I've sewn wouldn't have fit in less than a very large machine.

For lack of a better term I’ll call what I’m after a rescue strap. The design is still in the works but the basic principle behind it is to provide a few handles across my back that someone could hold on to as I guide them out of a building should there be a power outage, fire, etc.. Nothing too exciting this time around.

SmileDocHill took care of me and put together exactly what I was looking for. As you look at it in the pic the loops on each end are where my arms go through. The three loops coming off the top are for someone to hang on to (they'll hang toward the ground when I have it on) and the buckle secures everything with a strap across my chest. He was able to take my concept and make it a reality and did a fantastic job. Thanks Doc!
