I check the gun deals about three times a day.. the only saving grace is i have less than 50 posts... But when I hit that 50th... it's on.. ps. i think i'll need to then begin to look for a room to rent because my wife will likely kick me out for buying more guns..
I bet the two sites are close to the same (user submitted). One thing I noticed on slickdeals, quite a few of the gun postings are from the actual sites selling the gun, and not really a good deal.
Either way, I have found a ton of great deals from that website. From gun cases/to bulk ammo/to handguns
Before Christmas a lot of nice guns were listed almost every day, but lately not much that interests me. Guess that's good, as it is getting tougher to sneak them into the house these days.
It's like anything else. Just because a post on a deal site says it's a good deal doesn't mean that a shopper shouldn't check around to confirm it. Especially since some of the good deals don't factor in the cost of shipping, which can sometimes be inflated to cover the cost of the deal.
It's like Costco. Most of the time they have good deals but occasionally it's possible to find the same thing cheaper elsewhere.
