Any planned firearm purchases in 2011

This years to buy list includes Remmy 700 in .308, lever gun for deer hunting, compact or sub compact for EDC, and maybe a can for the ar. Guess I'll have to see what the year brings.

I know my wife is getting her dedicated homedefense shotgun its a .410 coachgun. I plan on trading out a pistol for a better carry gun and saving antil I can buy a Ruger, Glock or 1911 later this year. We just moved and once I get another job and stop driving so far to work money will let up so who knows.

I am planning on getting a AR this summer if things with my job look secure.I work for ABF freight and we have been loosing money for a while now and I am getting concerned. But if things get better I am going to celebrate with an AR purchase. I am sorry I sold my Colt SP1 a few years ago. I have been looking around trying to decide what brand, and 1in7 or 1in9 twist. I am set on 223/5.56.

Friday im getting a 1927 mosin nagant 91/30 for my collection and other guns for the year will probably be.....Beretta 92sf possibly some sort of a smith & wesson 357 or a compact xdm (already got a fullsize xdm) and alugar p08 if i can find one at the right price bad part what ever i send the wife gets somthing of equal value but atleast she allows it.

I'm planning another busy year....

Need to get an Imbel receiver and do my FAL build. Then I would like to get my hands on a few C&R's as money allows. I'd kinda like to get a k98k action and build up a sniper clone using the scope my dad gave me. Wouldn't mind grabbing a 5.45 Saiga and doing a quick conversion on it...

All I know is my eyes are always much bigger than my wallet.... and my time.

I have my eyes on a beautiful Mosin carbine at the local shop. I'm just waiting on my money from the VA. Knowing my luck, and how slow the Gumberment is. It will probably be gone, by the time I get the money. I'm also contemplating a Weatherby Vanguard carbine chambered in .223, depending on my tax return this year. If I do get the Mosin though, I may look at getting a Dragunov variant.

Metric or Inch FAL?

Metric... I have an Stg58 parts kit I picked up last fall. When I started reading around about the vendors that are making receivers now, it seems like every one of them had some people *****ing... except the Imbels.

I technically ordered both in 2010 but won't be picking them up until 2011. I'm thinking that makes my recent purchases still count for 2011.

I just purchased a S&W model 19

My list for 2011 has surprisingly a couple Kel Tecs

1. PMR/RMR - I want to pick up both of them once they are actually available.
2. Hopefully find some pre lock S&W and Colt revolvers.
3. Semi Auto .308 - Haven't decided yet. I normally save for the year and get an expensive rifle so I have time.
4. CZ 97 - long overdue
5. Detonics Nemesis - Assuming it's what I hope it to be.
