Any upcoming UTAH Non-Resident Carry Permit classes in Lake/Porter County?

My daughter turns 18 in a couple weeks. For her birthday she said she wants to get her Lifetime Indiana LTCH. I'd like to also have her take a class (something not taught by me) so I figured that I'd sign her up for a UTAH class.

We live in Lake County. Does anyone know of any upcoming classes in Northwest Indiana? Or even in Cook or Will Counties in Illinois?

Fortress Defense Consultants (Welcome to Fortress Defense Consultants) has a Utah CCW course scheduled on Jan 26th. They are located in Crete, IL, which is on the IL/IN state line. Frank and his group of trainers are good people and know their stuff. Would also suggest you sign her up for one of their Defensive Pistol classes that are held at the Sand Burr Gun Ranch in Rochester, IN...it is safe, effective training that will get her very comfortable with concealed carry.

Cabelas is having a class on Jan 27th. the class preps you to get Utah, Fla, and Az.

Edge Training Group in Etna Green, IN has some coming up in January. Curt and Karl are great instructors. They may be a little too far for you depending upon your location.

This would be great, but she has a Fencing Tournament on that date and being the captain of the team it would look pretty bad if she missed the tournament. Still, Crete is only about 15/20 minutes northwest of us, so that is a great option.

Yup, easily 90 minutes away, and in a different time zone too.

Midwest Gun and Range in Elkhart, IN is having a concealed carry class on Janurary 29th. I went through this course and it was pretty good. Took about 60 days to get the permit back once I applied. The class runs $100.00 to sign up. You can get the info on their website.
