I think I am going back to carrying my 1911 Commander until after the new year.
My Glock is getting a little uncomfortable IWB right now :)

I was wondering why I seem to have gravitated toward carrying the RI 22TCM the last week or so, it's skinnier. Another reason may be that I have the Aliengear shell lined with leather and feel more comfortable using it with a 1911.
Does this mean we need to going on a diet Allen?

I found it relatively easy to line the shell with leather and IMHO makes it ever better. Makes it like the best fitting leather holster ever. I'm a little surprised Aliengear doesn't offer something like that.

I found that IWB is not as easy as it was when I was in my 20's . Multiple holsters before multiple guns, but now I have both so it doesn't really matter.

I am so much farther down the road than you, Allen.
I had to switch from a 1911 commander style to a Kahr CW9.
If I get any fatter I will have to either buy some new pants or carry a knife. :)

I switched to the commander instead of the Glock some time back. Now even the 1911 is screaming for an extra hole in the belt. I am getting exercise and feel good but I admit that I need to cut back on the feed a bit.
