Anybody going fishing today?

I am going fishing today if anyone wants to come along send me a pm and I'll let you know where I am going. I will be on the westside of Indy. Thinking about Eagle Creek (no boat so it will be bank fishing) or I might go to a pay pit on the southside. Decisions decisions...

I am going later today at Geist. My wife has never been fishing. I had to teach her how to cast yesterday. She wont touch the bee moths so i get to bait her hook and take the fish off the hook.

The Lilly lake is one of the few remaining perks.

We went fishing yesterday (Wed.) at Eagle Creek. Caught nothing. Got skunked. First time out this year so far. We will be going again tomarrow (Friday) but this time we will be on the river off of west st. I like the river fishing best. The fish are more wild and put up a real good fight and they should be hungry for my special doughbait. Hopefully they will be biting for all of us no matter where we fish.

I went to the pond behind my house after work today. A few bass were cruising the shallows. Senko's caught 2 of them. Nothing of size but felt good to catch afew.

I went on a private pond today after work and caught 46 crappie on tube jigs and gulp minnows in 3 to 6 ft of water around the fallen trees. Most were full of eggs. Worst part about that was I hadda clean em all. going again in the morning to an even better pond with a friend. The crappie there average 12 to 18 inches. good luck to all who venture out !!!!!

went fishing yesterday up at Willow Slough near Remington but caught nothing. No hits nor fish. Wind was very strong almost swamping my jon boat.

Went bass fishing this evening.

I caught 2, brother caught 4 and nephew caught 1.

Lady we talked to on the way said she caught six... so it was a good day.

My brother had the days big bass, a 2.5 pounder.

I missed a really nice one just before dark.

Think most of the big ones are still deep, but they are moving around with the warmer weather.

All caught on red/black or blue/black power worms.

If you fish there at broad ripple, try throwing a green tube with chartreuse tail, great for smallmouth bass.

I just went, with 40 minutes of daylight, an old farm pond/lake, casted 1/16 oz. leadhead jig with 2" tube, tipped with crappie nibble, looking for crappies but only caught 1 bass about 14", I put him back to grow

Ok geez I have went fishing 2 times this week and so far I have caught absolutely nothing.
I had better find me a better spot.
