Anyone handy with automative electrical stuff?

Sounds like ground issues. Might be as simple as a common ground post under or behind the dash that's corroded. No clue what it would cost to cure since I am the mechanic at my house (sometimes I wish I had a better mechanic though)

Clean battery connections, make sure they're tight.
Check wires for nicks/burns.
