Yep, Wife picked it up used. MUCH more reliable than my Sig Mosquito. I have shot several hundred rounds of bulk Federals through it and I can't remember even one failure. Wish I could say that for the Sig ....even with CCIs!
How is it Gaston Glock is not suing over this? May be a good .22, I'll have to take a second look after seeing the video in that link ( thanks LOG). Local FFL had 2. Will have to look. Lots of good feedback from what I see. Get one and tell us what you think! Guide me oh wise one!
Thanks for the input, guys.
Are the frames made of polymer or what?
I saw a .22LR M&P look alike on the S&W website which stated that the frame was "metal" ???
Sounded to me like cast zinc or something similar. I mean why not say specifically what metal? It doesn't seem like it would last long if it were some kind of pot metal. I'm hoping the ISSC isn't made of that.
" Pot metal " or zamac isn't uncommon in the rimfire world. IIRC the Walther P22 has a zinc alloy slide of some sort. The Ruger MKlll is steel frame, slide( or bolt) and barrel and I think the Bersa has a steel slide over an aluminum alloy frame. I wonder about the new 22 lookalike guns myself, what materials they're made of.
