Just another name for 9x19, 9mm NATO, 9mm Lugar, 9mm Parabellum. Just a name for the 9x19. Is there any true brand name on the box?

That's just what the Italians (i.e. Pietro Beretta and his kin) likes to call the 9mm luger round. What markings do the rounds have on the base? What kind of case is it - brass, steel, aluminum?

Parabellum is Latin for "For War."

Si vis pacem, para bellum is a Latin adage translated as, "If you wish for peace, prepare for war". Referenced Wikipedia, as I could not remember the whole adage. It may be Latin, but I believe it was the Germans that developed the cartridge that today is commonly refered to as 9mm Luger, due in large part to the popularity/development of their Luger pistol.
