My daughter an SIL live on the Cleveland eastside. When we visited last summer, they showed some of the sights. We were impressed.

Cleveland's new motto: "We're NOT Detroit!"

Cassonos pizza ... Wish we had it here.

i have family in Middletown , frequent there often.

Grew up with a Casino's Pizza Parlor down the street. It was good pizza but not as good as Marion's.

Dad and I used to shoot at Middletown Fish and Game. Then we would go visit AIM Surplus. I remember when Southern Ohio Gun used to have a showroom.

Just wondering if anyone here is from Ohio? I grew up in Dayton/Kettering area in the 60s-70s. After I got off active duty, I lived for a short time in Ohio before I moved to Indiana in 85. Over time, I really enjoyed the 2nd Amendment freedoms and lower taxes here. Life is a little slower paced and less bureaucratic, verses Ohio. Other than Marion's Pizza in Dayton and the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson, there is not a lot that I miss.

Just moved my mom back to Indy from Dayton. She retired from Wright Patterson. On our way back to Indy we stopped at Marion's pizza. Good eating!

I lived in Cincinnati for a couple years before (finally) moving back to Indiana last year. Ironically, I'm currently in Dayton for work.

I prefer Indiana, in every way imaginable.

Graduated from Fairmont West in Kettering. Went into the Air Force right out of H.S. First five years were overseas and then a base in Idaho. Never did get stationed at Wright Patt. Currently work at an undisclosed FEMA camp in north central Indiana. :abused:

I live in Cleveland. It's getting better by the day. I've been here for 4 months now. If you haven't been to Cleveland lately then you haven't been to Cleveland. Young money is pouring into the state now. Their Republican governor is slowly trying to turn this ship around. In march we will now recognize indiana and other LTCH. And the classroom time to get a Ohio permit will be diminished. We're not indiana, , , yet!

Cleveland born and raised (ok fine, the suburb was Eastlake) Cavs extend their NBA leading win streak to 11, Johnny's in rehab - sounds about right!
