Plugging an unknown thumb drive into your computer will lose you your security clearance...may or may not apply. Our enemies regularly dropped thumb drives in the Pentagon parking lot hoping we'd take them in and plug them into a computer; now that's just another device we don't use.

Yep, I'd just turn it in to IUPD and let them handle it.
