Howdy Y'all. Fairly off topic question, but does anyone know where I can find some whole ghost peppers (bhut jolokia) in the Carmel or northside areas? Thank you for your time. -Ben

I like to think of it like to think of it like doing a marathon. You're in pain, but it's a good feeling pain and you end up with a nice euphoric feeling at the end.

Have you had fresh ghost peppers? Intense heat, but the flavor is nasty. Bitter and blech.

Reapers or Trinidad Scorpions have all the heat and the njce subtle fruity pepper flavor.

I have seen ghost peppers at the mexican store at about 4000 N Shadeland.

    Correction: 3110 N Shadeland Ave, 46226.
They are on the back wall, in with the other produce.
If you like, I could check to be sure they have some in stock.

After eating peppers like that, I wouldn't consider the feeling you get "at the end" to be euphoric. More along the lines of feeling you should lift up the ring and dunk "the end" right into the bowl to put out the fire.
