I've got a 5lb bag of himalayan rock salt that I plan on turning into ghost pepper infused salt. I also plan on making a few bottles of hot sauce.

Have you had fresh ghost peppers? Intense heat, but the flavor is nasty. Bitter and blech.

Reapers or Trinidad Scorpions have all the heat and the njce subtle fruity pepper flavor.

I have seen ghost peppers at the mexican store at about 4000 N Shadeland.

They are on the back wall, in with the other produce.

After eating peppers like that, I wouldn't consider the feeling you get "at the end" to be euphoric. More along the lines of feeling you should lift up the ring and dunk "the end" right into the bowl to put out the fire.

Been there, done that. And "chasing" them with ice cream doesn't help. Don't fall for that.
