That really isn't a bad price for a Strider custom. The Starlingear bead is probably worth a minimum of $150.00, probably more. I have seen and owned a few custom Striders that go for a lot more.

I'm not surprised. One of the biggest shocks I ever had in dealing with knives was when I went to the Blade show in Atlanta years ago. People were buying $150 to $200 Starlingear beads like it was popcorn. I was like...that much for a lanyard bead?.......you got to be kidding me.

The only starlingear I owned was the bead which came with the Badlands SMFs. I carried the knife and "sold" the bead to DB for $50. He used it to complete a set of knives he wNted to pair up at his retirement.

i had a "knife dealer" offer me $300 for it. I declined and told him of what was going on with it. He got IRRATE, and attempted to smear me on the internet..... It didn't get very fair.
