Anyone on the ice?

Anyone on the ice this morning? Haven't been out to fish yet and I have a chance to today after work. Ice still thick?

I'll be on the ice later this afternoon, but I doubt the folks at the rink would be happy if I tried to drill a hole in it.

With the quick heat up, I was afraid that enough of the ice would have melted off.

I went ice fishing last night for my first time ever, me and a buddy caught about 15 gills, a crappie and a couple bass, was a decent 3 hours.

Only been out once. Not a bite, I was fishing deep for perch. Ice was plenty thick Saturday night. anywhere from 6-8 inches.

Awesome! it is addicting for me simply because it is something you can't take for granted, since the weather only permits limited outings a year/years.
