It looked like a Weasel or a Ferret of some kind. It was in the middle of US 40 on the east side around 700. Does Indiana have Mink or Weasels?

Not weird, but saw a raccoon on the side of the road. It's like he was hit, and then rolled onto his butt, and was sitting up almost indian style (picture small child with legs out front, sitting straight up) it made me look twice.

    This pertains to the thread.

Gerri's Rules of Highway Driving -- You will encounter something dead in the roadway, either just before, or just after, you stop to eat.

    Watch and see... :D

We have stopped before to check a deer. It wasn't warm though so it was dead too long for our liking.

To go along with weird positions. It is always funny when you see a dead coon on its back that has all 4 limbs sticking straight in the air haha

What 700? 700 West in Hancock County? I've been in the woods on Buck Creek just northeast of there and had one come within about 4 ft. of me before running.
